Local Church Information

If you are looking for support in exploring faith further, or would like support in any way, then please do connect with your local church.   If you don't know who to contact, then either get in touch with us, or one of the churches listed below.  We will all do our best to help you in any way that we can.

All Saints (Marlow)

Within the four churches that make up the 4U Team we hope you will find a community that feels like your extended family.  Whatever you are looking for in a church, whether it is a sanctuary of peace and spiritual connection, or a vibrant and engaging family centered community, we are sure that you will find something for you.

We have churches in Marlow, Bisham, Little Marlow and Marlow Bottom which have a range of services, activities and events of differing patterns and styles.  We believe everyone is a gift from God and it is our privilege to join with young people to help build confident, compassionate and caring people of God.  Belonging to a Church family allows us to journey in faith together, grow together and discover the difference that faith makes.

Holmer Green Baptist Church

At Holmer Green Baptist Church we believe that the Church is a place where everyone should feel welcome and have a sense of belonging.  As a church, we aim to make God our primary focus – sharing the gospel with the local community, growing in relationship with Jesus through discipleship, fellowshipping with God

and each other and serving God and the Church with the gifts and abilities he has given each of us.  As a community, we aim to be a church that is forward-focused and totally dependent on God.  If you are new to the area and/or exploring faith, we will be offering an Alpha course for Young people and families, which will offer an opportunity to connect with us and look at common questions about God and the Christian Faith.

Speen Baptist

When Speen Chapel was built over 200 years ago, by local people with local stone, it served the community – as a place to meet each other and to meet with God.  Over the years it’s become a place which welcomes everyone; to celebrate good things and to be together when times are tough; to sit in peaceful silence or to party.  In this place we learn something new about ourselves, about each other and about the living, loving God.

That doesn’t mean that we’re more special or holy than anyone else – we are ordinary people who are exploring what it is to live in a world where an extraordinary, loving God is at work.  We believe that our God calls everyone to be a part of that journey, and we would love to have you join us.

St. Peter's (Loudwater)

St Peter’s youth exists to serve, love and walk alongside young people aged between 11-17.  We are passionate about seeing young people encounter Jesus, and fully believe that you can and should have loads of fun whilst doing so!  With Sunday mornings and midweek hangouts, there is plenty for young people to get involved with, make friends and of course eat a load of food (a hangout without food is just an email right?)  During the current pandemic, we are not meeting physically, but our youth team would love to hear from you and connect. We are still running events (just online) and would welcome any newcomers.

Totteridge Baptist (High Wycombe)

We are local Christians who God has called to worship in the community, bring Jesus into the community, and be a church where community meets.  We are a small, mixed-age congregation (including babies) and we welcome families to our services.  Although we currently do not have a focused children’s group on a Sunday, we provide activities for children to do with their parents during the service.  Our onsite events which were suspended during lockdown have now resumed, including a games evening in our hall on the third Thursday of each month (usually). We were pleased to resume our services and small group meetings in person but are also continuing to make good use of Zoom.
